How to Dress like the Members of KATSEYE

It’s been almost two years since the global girl-group, KATSEYE, debuted. They’ve been making waves throughout the music industry, releasing hits like ‘Touch’, ‘Gnarly’, and their Grammy-nominated song, ‘Gabriela’. These six popstars devour the stage with their dance moves and shine with their fashion. On-stage the members don coordinating outfits matching the theme of the song, while off-stage they have each developed their own signature style.

  1. Sophia laforteza

Hailing all the way from the Philippines, Sophia holds the title of ‘leader’ with confidence and class. Often choosing button ups, mini skirts and knee high boots, her personal style can be described as ‘preppy chic’. She always chooses to accessorize with a pair of sunglasses and a cute shoulder bag to complete the look.

2. lara rajagopalan

Even when she joined Dream Academy, the survival show that formed KATSEYE, Lara was a force to be reckoned with. As the certified baddie of the group, Lara doesn’t shy away from showing some skin. Ultra low rise pants and super cropped tops fill her wardrobe.  Lara loves wearing red and black, often matching her hair, giving her a sultry look. Representing her Indian culture, you will always see her wearing her bindi, nose ring, or Ohm necklace.

3. Jeong Yoonchae

As the youngest of the group—being only sixteen when she debuted—we have watched Yoonchae’s fashion grow with her. At first Yoonchae’s style was representative of the trends in South Korea where she was born and raised which were soft and youthful. Once she joined the group and moved to the U.S., we watched as she switched to streetwear. She started embracing traditionally masculine silhouettes, opting for an oversized look. Through this exploration of a different style, the youngest member has unlocked a new level of edginess and confidence.
